Who We Are

Sustainable Alberta Association is an Alberta-based non-profit organization committed to create livable communities and to reduce transportation-related emissions. We have a strong volunteer component with a board of directors consists of representatives from business, government and the non-profit sector.

Mission

Our mission is to promote and facilitate sustainable mobility through education and engagement. Our main focus is to improve personal and environmental health as well as healthy communities, through encouraging individuals to commute by foot, bicycle, bus, train and carpool or telecommute.

Vision

Livable communities that are safe, comfortable and convenient to travel by car, foot, bicycle, wheelchair and transit. We believe that a healthy population requires vibrant, diverse communities that ensure quality of life and human dignity over automobile dependency.
